SHL HMI user interface
More flexibility, more options

The human machine interface (HMI) of the SHL user interface can be used universally. The control unit can be combined to a functional unit with any SHL machine and other robot types via fieldbus.

The HMI can be used with the KCP of KUKA robots. For all other robot types, the HMI works with an IPC system. The HMI provides an overview of all relevant data for the system. Process, machine and setup parameters are logged in an integrated database. The software aggregates the data, plots it in a diagram and displays it in a comprehensible manner.

In the KUKA-based version, your installation is controlled and monitored via defined soft keys. Your special requirements can be integrated via freely programmable soft keys in addition.

In IPC-based systems, the installation is controlled via touchscreen: The graphic interface and the touch function enable you to manipulate defined queries and control signals with ease. The existing standard of functions and possibilities of the HMI already offers you enormous flexibility. In addition to that, the innovative software architecture enables easy implementation of functional extensions as well as special and individual adjustments to your installations and requirements.

Innovation – made by SHL: We used the latest software technology for developing the HMI. Ergonomics was the central point of focus particularly in the interface design so that using it would be as easy and self-explanatory as possible.
